In the past 6 years, Kazzum's Pathways programme has worked with 3100 young refugees from 21 refugee groups across 11 London Boroughs
'Pathways' promotes access to the arts by creating work with and for new and refugee communities across Greater London. The programme includes culturally diverse plays and participative arts activities which raise awareness and empathy for the circumstances of refugees, asylum seekers and new arrivals.
'Pathways' offers a variety of activities including drama, video, photography, creative writing, story telling, dance and music.
These Pathways projects also aim to integrate the young people within the overall development of Kazzum's professional production for audiences aged 10 +. This approach furthers the creative ambition of the company, with one process informing the other. By intertwining Kazzum's participation and professional activities ensures all the work engages with it's audience
