Having received Big Lottery Funding we are delivering Young Voices, an annual training programme that helps create pathways to employment or further training. The training aims to build young people’s self-confidence and awareness of their own potential through practical, creative and team based learning.
Young people develop life skills for personal, social and professional development and finish the training with a stronger CV, interview experience and work experience.
The training is suitable for young refugees, asylum seekers and those from migrant communities aged 16-25. During the training participants will:
-Develop team building skills
-Gain confidence in themselves
-Receive one to one CV writing & interview support
-Have the opportunity to visit London landmarks
-Have the opportunity to gain work experience
The weekly training is currently being delivered at John Ruskin College and is open to ESOL students studying Entry level 2&3.
