As we know Daryl is often sharing Kazzum’s vision and way of working on an international stage, over the last few years he’s been flying the Kazzum flag in Washington, Ohio, Melbourne, Adelaide, Sydney, Sweden and Copenhagen… well now he’s off to Warsaw, Poland, as part of the18th ASSITEJ World Congress and the International Festival of Theatres for Children and Young People KORCZAK in May 23rd- 31st 2014.
Daryl will be there delivering a Kazzum master class and sharing our approach to using inclusivity as a creative tool for theatre making.
As well as this Daryl will also be there as the chair of the International Inclusive Arts Network (iian) which Kazzum was commissioned to create and manage by The Kennedy Centre in Washington and Theatre for Young audiences UK. iian is s the ASSITEJ network of inclusive theatre makers and will be giving presentation about this new area of work.
Daryl will be keeping a video diary of his journey (we think it’s so he can show off when he’s back in the office) and updating on facebook and twitter, so keep your eyes and ears peeled to find out what he gets up to in Poland!
