    Musicians required

    for Family Festival

Kazzum are looking for solo or small groups to play live and acoustically as part of our upcoming outdoor Family festival based in Bethnal Green on Saturday 22nd August, 11am – 4pm.

The Happy Ever After Festival is a fairytale explosion of food, activities and live performance acts throughout the day created by local young people. The day is themed around fantasy and fairy tale with a twist, it’s not Disney and it’s not Game of Thrones but more a playful twist on classic children stories, myths and nursery rhymes.

Therefore we are looking to programme live musicians to add to this festival vibe. We are interested in how your music connects with the theme.

Therefore all genres are welcome and we are open to your interpretation of this theme. The musicians will be programmed alongside a series of outdoor walkabout acts and performances. The festival is a small and intimate affair and therefore we just require that it is live and acoustic.  The music can be instrumental only, with lyrics or a mixture of both.

You will be programmed to play for 3 half hour slots throughout the day. You can repeat the same music or play different music for each slot.

We are able to provide a fee of up to £250 (to be negotiated depending on type of performance)

    To apply please send

    • a CV
    • short response (max 500 words) to how you feel you can complement theme themes of the Happy Ever After Festival
    • links to online examples of your work
