• Christmas Appeal

Posted on: December 10th, 2015 by Emily Campbell

As Christmas approaches, Kazzum are asking all our staff, friends and supporters to consider giving a gift to Kazzum so we can make sure we can do even more in 2016.

Even a gift of £5 can make a difference to a number of young people; providing quality opportunities for all young people to take part in the arts. As you know we work with young refugees, young people with disabilities and within hospital settings; some of our most vulnerable in society.

Kazzum realises that Christmas is hectic and expensive, with so many charities asking for money to help people in need all over the world. If you could support Kazzum today you could really can help make a difference to the lives of young people in your community. Whether that is a young migrant, a child spending the Christmas period in hospital, or a school leaver from Tower Hamlets, helping them to gain invaluable skills to get that otherwise near-impossible first job.

A donation this Christmas, no matter how small or large, will enable Kazzum to work with MORE young people, in MORE communities. Next year we have ambitious outreach plans for refugee week, work in Whipps Cross in early January, as well as a community Festival in Bethnal Green, helping to bring together families in our community in the most wonderful way (see here for what this looked like last year!).

Every penny you give will go to providing new opportunities for young people to enjoy creative activities, which reduce isolation and build confidence. If you can, please donate here today

If you’d prefer, send a cheque (perhaps with a Christmas card? They like them too!) to Kazzum, Oxford House, Derbyshire Street, Bethnal Green, London, E2 6HG.

A HUGE Thank You in advance from Kazzum & all the young people they work with.
