Fouad Al Kadi
Fouad holds a Master’s in Power, Participation, and Social Change from the Institute of Development Studies (IDS) at the University of Sussex, earned through the prestigious Chevening Scholarship, awarded to individuals with exceptional leadership and influencing potential.
He is the founder of Shift Up, a training and consultation organisation rooted in the belief that POWER should be reclaimed by people who have been affected. Shift Up’s work spans understanding the lived experience, co-production, leadership development, and policy development.
He is passionate about using creative facilitation, political education, and play to spark critical thinking and collective action. His interests include liberation pedagogy, community accountability, and turning systems of exclusion inside out.
