We take an evidence-based approach to our work. In 2024 we reviewed and advanced our organisational evaluation processes, responding to the needs of participants, partners and artists across our programmes, in line with our strategic vision.
Our Theory of Change:
Our Evaluative Dimensions:
We have now developed evaluative dimensions which work across all our activities and ensure that data we gather is relevant and youth-centred. These evaluative dimensions are:
Engagement – whether the participant felt engaged in the activity
Creativity – whether the participant felt they expressed themselves creatively
Relatedness – whether the participant built relationships with others through participating in a workshop
Self-efficacy – whether the participant gained more confidence
Wellbeing – whether the participant felt a greater sense of wellbeing through participating in a workshop
Autonomy – whether the participant felt heard and empowered to make positive choices
Our Impact Report:
Our annually released Impact Report is a moment for us to recognise the profound impact that our activities have on our communities of children and artists, as they collaborate within projects which encourage creativity, spark imagination, centre lived experience and create spaces of social joy.
Find out what our participants, partners, trainees and associate artists say about working with Kazzum Arts:
“Kazzum are vital to our ward, the opportunity that they allow for children and young people is very hard for us to replicate, and the attention that they give to our patients is very well received.”
“The creative arts was a channel for expressing gratitude and our feelings towards the negativity around us.”
“I felt more welcomed compared to most of the day. Art allows me to be myself.”
“Kazzum is really joyful. It makes us have fun.”
