Freelance Artist Facilitator

Kazzum Arts is looking for London based Artist Facilitators to deliver trauma informed creative workshops across our Regulation programme in 2026 and beyond.

Our Regulation Programme uses the arts to develop relationships, emotional literacy and communication skills of young people excluded from mainstream education. Our current work takes place in Primary special educational needs settings for children with complex social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs.

We are looking to recruit artists that are aligned with our approach and have experience in a range of visual and expressive artforms with particular focus in one or more of the following; visual arts and craft, installations, puppetry, design, print, graphic arts, music, audio and/or film.

We support artists at all stages of their careers from emerging to more established artists; however, we are looking for a minimum of 2 years professional experience working with children and young people in community and/or school settings.

Thanks to funding from the Paul Hamlyn Foundation, we will be expanding our Regulation Programme into 3 additional SEMH primary provisions across London over the next 3 years. We are looking for artists to take on roles as lead artist facilitators in these settings.

Facilitator rates of pay: Rate: £175 - £215 per day depending on length of day. This includes the delivery of a weekly session/s, planning and evaluation. Additional training, planning and project development days are offered within our contracts. All artists are offered access to our 24/7 Employee assistance programme and reflective practice sessions.

Deadline for applications: 7th July 2026, 4pm.
