📣 Calling London Schools 📣

Would you like a free creative workshop, encouraging students to challenge negative stereotypes and think reflectively about race and the experiences of young migrants in the UK?

Inspired by our participatory work with young refugees, asylum seekers and migrants over the past 15 years, and in direct collaboration with young migrants from the well established Brighter Futures advocacy group, Kazzum have created fun and engaging creative writing workshops and resources to support students understanding.

At a time when hate crime is on the rise, the prominence of the global Black Lives Matter movement, as well as the Department For Educations infringement upon educational rights - It's now more important than ever to support children and young people's understanding around issues of race, immigration and colonial legacies.

It was an interesting and creative way to understand the difficulties refugees face
